Hi, I’m Gwen, the owner of Fancy Faces Berkeley. I’ve been crafting smiles (aka face painting kids) for over 16 years, long enough to know what actually works at real parties with real kids and real chaos.I'm fully insured, adult and child CPR and first aid certified, and I use only professional, FDA-compliant theatrical makeup that dries quickly to a soft, powdery finish. That means no sticky faces, no constant smearing, and way fewer meltdowns.I’m known for detailed designs, a calm presence, and keeping things moving so kids get a great face without standing in line forever. My goal is simple: happy kids, relaxed parents, and a party that runs smooth as heck. Send me an email to see how we can make some magic together.
All good things must come to an end, sadly. When you're ready to remove, follow these two easy steps:1. Do not wet the face. Apply a liquid soap (like baby shampoo or face wash) all over the paint, dry. Rub it in well.
2. Wipe it off with a warm wet washcloth. Some of the darker colors might need the process done a time or two. If there are any stubborn spots (dark blue is often a bit intense), a little oil (any kind) on a q-tip often helps.
